I have a very diverse background grounded in education, research, and higher education administration. I earned a PhD in Higher Administration, and 2, Master’s degrees; one in Organizational Communications and the other in Public Health. I completed a 3 year, post-doctoral fellowship on Women’s Health Disparities. The scope of the fellowship was to study the complex relationship of obesity and metabolic syndrome and its effect on breast cancer mortality in rural African-American women. I have experiences teaching all types of learners, whether it is face to face or online. I believe that everyone can learn given the right set of circumstances and training.
